UCLA Health, Cedars-Sinai, Keck Medical Center of USC among US News 2020-21 Best Hospitals Honor Roll

On July 28, 2020 U.S. News released the 2020-21 Best Hospitals Honor Roll and Medical Specialties Rankings. The Best Hospitals Honor Roll highlights 20 hospitals that excel across most or all types of care evaluated by U.S. News. Hospitals received points if they were nationally ranked in the 16 specialties – the more specialties and the higher their rank, the more points they got – and if they were rated high performing in any of the 10 procedures and conditions. The top point-scorers made the Honor Roll and Los Angeles had quite a showing with UCLA Medical Center ranked #4, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center ranked #7 and Keck Hospital of USC came in at #18.

Additionally, for 2020-21 medical specialties, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center ranked #3 for Top Hospitals for Cardiology & Heart Surgery, #2 for Top Hospitals for Gastroenterology & GI Surgery , #3 for Top Hospitals for Orthopedics, and #3 for Top Hospitals for Pulmonology and Lung Surgery.

UCLA Medical Center ranked #3 in Top Hospitals for Geriatrics, and #3 for Top Hospitals for Nephrology.

City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center ranked #15 in Adult Cancer Hospitals.
