Expanded LA County Commitment to Life Sciences

LA County continues to demonstrate its longstanding commitment to life sciences, with unanimous approval of a motion by Supervisor & Board Chair Holly J. Mitchell committed to “Expanding the Life Sciences Industry While Creating Equitable, High-Road Career Opportunities for our Local Communities.”

In conjunction with Biocom California – along with South Bay Workforce Investment Board, the County’s new Department of Economic Opportunity, and other regional partners and stakeholders – this set of initiatives will continue to support the growth of funding, space, and talent for life sciences in the region.

We applaud the efforts of Biocom California and LA County and look forward to continued collaborations.
