MATTER and Cedars-Sinai Accelerator partner to support next-generation healthcare innovations

New collaboration will provide additional support for startups participating in the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator and strengthen the accelerator

MATTER, the premier healthcare incubator and innovation hub, and Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, a leading health tech accelerator, will collaborate to accelerate the development of new solutions to improve health and healthcare.

MATTER will provide Cedars-Sinai Accelerator with access to its more than 260 healthcare member startups, helping to identify promising companies aligned to Cedars-Sinai’s strategic focus areas. Simultaneously, companies graduating from the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator program will benefit from an additional six months of support under MATTER’s auspices.

“MATTER has attracted some of the most promising startups both globally and in the Midwest, where Chicago anchors a robust healthcare innovation scene. Partnering with MATTER has allowed us to more strategically tap into Midwest talent and develop a robust pipeline of startups,” said Jim Laur, JD, vice president, intellectual property and managing director, Cedars-Sinai Health Ventures.

Cedars-Sinai Accelerator recently announced their eighth class.
